ARTIST CONSULTATION (3 one-hour sessions)
Topics covered during the consultation process include:
- Clarify your goals and challenges. Gain insight into your own creative cycles, habits, needs, gifts and obstacles. Gain a sense of direction. You will be guided into taking new and sensible actions that will start to build your momentum toward your new goals.
- Work through resistances and developing new habits in an effort to further increase momentum
- Goal setting
- Budgeting & Financial Issues (refer to accountant or financial advisor as needed)
- Legal considerations (refer to lawyer as needed)
- Understanding the music business
- Public Relations tips: building your list, online networking, speaking as promotion, etc
- Opportunities to grow – recommend educational opportunities, such as workshops, retreats, seminars, membership organizations, etc.
- Preparing for the recording or publishing
Consultation - $200 for 3 hours, in 3 sessions
EDITING SERVICES
Editing manuscripts, theses, non-fiction, articles, newsletters, documents and more
SERVICES PROVIDED AND COSTS
Up to 500 words: $30 (1-2 pages)
501 to 2,000 words: $45 (3-8 pages)

Proofreading: .02¢ per word
Proofreading is for writers who do not need help with sentence structure or the content of the book itself, but need someone to simply go over the text for basic grammatical and spelling errors.
Line Editing/ Copyediting: .05¢ per word
Line editing is to tie together loose ends in your manuscript and to make sure that the story flows properly, and includes corrections for poor grammar, word usage, capitalization, word breaks, tone and format. Redundancies are noted or eliminated; wordy passages are flagged or tightened; and any awkward, vague, or confusing sentences are identified or recast. Jargon, idioms, and clichés are noted and reworked to improve word choice.
Content Editing/ Substantive Editing: .50¢-.75¢ per word
Content editing provides solutions for problems of overall clarity, accuracy, and information flow. Typically segments are rewritten, word choices refined, and sections reorganized. To improve readability, you may also see headings added or renamed. Involves the rearranging, deleting, adding and rewording of entire pages and chapters.
Indexing: $3.00 per manuscript/proof page
Indexing provides an alphabetical list by topic and page to enable the reader to pinpoint topics of interest in the manuscript.
PUBLICATIONS
Business: Design of marketing materials for your business or ministry to enhance your image. Academic: Editing, proofreading, manuscripts
Social: Invitations, save the date cards, programs, etc.
EMAIL NEWSLETTER BASIC PACKAGE
$2000.00 for first year, then $500.00 per year to maintain/send newsletter
For first year includes:
- Consultation on building your list and structuring campaign
- Signup sheets
- Create database
- Maintain database
- Register your business at Constant Contact or RatePoint
- Design and send a monthly newsletter
- Follow up emails

Make checks or money order payable to Knight Productions.
A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to start, with the balance due when the final product is delivered, or as specified in the agreement. If the estimated turnaround time is longer than two months, the balance may be divided into monthly payments.
Additional Fees
- A printing fee of .10¢ per page will be charged when more than 25 hard copy pages must be printed to complete a project.
- Add ten percent (10%) rush fee for 2-3 day delivery or five percent (5%) rush fee for 4-5 day delivery.
